EWWWW MATE!!!!!

look at how much effects i had to place in a sprite just so that it would move down the screen and then back up!!
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<----------
omg i cant believe i was that bothered!!
bahahahahaha but no worries in the end it was all worth it coz i like got to play the game that i made and like although it isnt the best game to be created its like MY game!!!
bahahahahahahhahahah
yeh i really think that i should improve it more but like its the end of the year and nobody is like bothered to do anyhting anymore so im just like meh!
BUT because i feel as though my game is really gheyy i think that will be enough motivation for me to improve it :D
yeh anyways more aboutthe making of the game! well when i was making it so much things didnt work out for me such as when i wanted the sprite do something it like did the opposite! so like i got mr cavill to help and then yeh a couple of days later im back on track :D
yesh and i know i havent been writing to my blog BUT thats because i was too busy modifying my scratch animations! erggghhh so tiresome!

during this task i have learnt about things that normally i wouldnt even consider reading or learning about which are processors.

i have leart that processors can very well be the most important part of a computer and i have learnt that it is what helps the computer operate because it sends out signals and messages that allows you to run programs.

i also learnt what clockspeed are! at first when i heard the term i was thought that they had like somethign to do with clocks and stuff but no they are actually how people measure the speed of a processor!!

Our wiki spaces was due on friday we included most of the things that are needed for the particular topic which was processors. each of us had an allocated task to do and most of us have done our fair share of the work. working together as a group to create a reasearch was a bit stressful because you have to make sure that everyone is updated on everything that you do and you also have to make sure that they are doing thier part of the work!!

Problems that we have encountered and how did we fix the problem-
some of the problems that we have encountered are that most of the group members can be distracted easily with games and such and i have to admit at times i am one of them but we solved this problem by making sure that we are keeping our part of the bargain and finishing off what we have not done in class, at home.
-another problem that we have encountered is not knowing what to include in our reasearch but with the help of mr. cavill he told us what to incorporate in our wiki's and and what are the main points that we should focus on.

well looking at the assignment sheet it said that we had to post a blog stating our group members and the roles that we have within our group so here it is :)

our group members are :
-Riya Chowdhry
-joanna Germino
-Jessica Peig
-and myself (Carla Soriano)

we were allocated roles of researching processors for our assignment and so far our research is going pretty well, we have covered some of the main topics of processors such as the different types of processors, the speed of processors, other forms of processors e.g. processors in washing machines, and which one would be suitable for each individuals.

-Problems that we have encountered
* even though our group has been working exceptionally well *cough cough* nahh jokes!! there are still times when distraction can take over my group members, like playing games during times when we had to be doing research but even thought they are sometimes distracted they are still able to pull off thier fair share of work.
* we had some trouble understanding what processors ARE and what exactly is thier roles but we easily overcame this problem by asking mr cavill to help explain it to us :D:D

sorry havent posted in a while! a tad bit busy on doing research for the assignment and havent had enough time to update my posts but seeing as though i have found most of the information that i needed i will be posting in my blog more often

well didnt do much today in terms of processors and stuff, pretty much just kept researching information that is related to the topic like how they are improving the design of processors and what are some of the brands that sell processors and the particular types of processors that they sell

clock speed = )
7:30 PM
Good news!!! i finally understand what clock speed are!!! with the help of mr caville i understand what they're roles are and what they are used for!

just a general description of what clock speed is :
Some people use clock speed to measure the speed of the processor. Generally clock speed is measured in MHz (megahertz or million of pulses per second) and GHz (gigahertz or billions of pulses per second), the clock speed determines the amount of cycles the clock speed has per second meaning if there is more clock speed it perform the operation quicker. However this isn’t the case for some, as mentioned earlier some computers can get sub-processors and multiple cores so even if the clock speed of these processors is lower it still operates multiple programs at a time meaning you get to do the same thing as a processor with high clock speed at the same given time. Although as a single processor, a processor with a higher clock speed may appear to be better but a processor with a low clock speed can also have its advantages such as the price of a low clock speed processor will be cheaper to purchase and the low clock speed processor will generate less heat when you use it but overall the processor you get will depend on the work that you have to do e.g. A computer with a high clock speed processor will be most suitable for people who have to do complex work, such as a video editing program and a processor with a low clock speed will be suitable for student who don’t need toe do much work on the computer except for basic work such as working on Microsoft word.

this is the site i found that was really heplful when i was researching clock speed http://pclt.cis.yale.edu/pclt/PCHW/clockidea.htm this site uses metaphores to help explain what clockspeed is.
